Hi everyone, I've spent ages looking for a support forum and you guys look the best fit for me, so here I am.
I quit smoking about 6 weeks ago.
I look forward to contributing to this group, and getting help when I need it.

Welcome to the Train @ParturMadcap! Glad you found us. Participating in a forum like this absolutely increases the odds of having a successful quit. Addiction likes to isolate us, to create an echo chamber for "stinkin thinkin" that calls us back to smoking. Engaging with fellow quitters is a fantastic antidote... it helps us thru rough times, give us insights, keeps us accountable. And this group will also make you laugh out loud, which is a beautiful thing.

Six weeks is fantastic! How long had you been smoking, and what's motivating you to find your forever quit now?

Looking forward to seeing you around!!!

Hi Clement.  This resembles my quit.  I was about 6 weeks in when I first came here...and almost 5 years later I still lurk in here quite a bit.  It does help to get through those rough spots.

Welcome @ParturMadcap! Your search for a great support group paid off! This one is the best group of former smokers that you could possibly find. You have a fabulous start to a life free from smoking! Keep it up and come hang out here often and participate in the discussions and/or helping others. Participating in a place like this is really a great way to stay on track and gets tips from others on how to navigate new issues that may come up from time to time.

Hope you stick around!!

Welcome ParturMadcap , you found the best place to be for quitting. Looking forward to seeing you around.

Stay Positive 😊

Welcome Clement and congratulations on 6 weeks smoke free.   You are doing a great thing in quitting the cigarettes.  It is great to have you here.

Welcome ParturMadcap.

You found the right place. When the urges come up just log in and post or just start reading all the comments and stories from others. It's a wonderful way to divert those urges to smoke. I can just get lost in all of the information here. The games are fun and also keep your mind distracted.
