Welcome @Britt and well done for making the best decision you'll ever make! 😊

You've mentioned you've previously been here, that's great so you'll know that everyone here is supportive and there are lots of threads you can read to help you.  I'd recommended pledging NOPE each day if you think it'll help! 😊

Wishing you all the strength and determination you need!  💪

Great decision!  Do whatever it takes to get through the early tough days and get yourself free from nicotine addiction.  You never have to feel alone in your journey.   Reach out as needed for support along the way.  Check in and give status reports.  It's very doable.  You can do it!   You are worth it!

Hi @Britt & welcome to the best quit smoking support forum there is! I truly hope you make it in your journey to quit because being quit is the best thing ever!!!

It's hard in the initial stages but very doable with committment & self discipline along the way. We've all been there where you are so we have all been through what you'll be experiencing. We've all dealt with the lows points in quitting and the very high point which is being successful in achieving your goal.

You're quitting for a reason; or reasons so keep those reasons in mind when you're challenged by withdrawals.

Come to the site often and don't hesitate to communicate, ask questions (there's no dumb questions) or just come on here to vent when needed. We're all here to help where we can.

See you around!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
