September 30, 201411 yr I'm feeling rather old today as my youngest daughter turns 20 today! Yikes! I can't believe she is 20 already. Where did that time go to? She has left her teen years and enters her 20-something years! My oldest daughter is 22. I cannot believe my baby girls are in their 20's already. I think I need a nap because I'm old and I'm tired! :) Well, I'm very proud of the adults they have become, and that means that the hubby and I did a good job raising them. We did our best. Okay, just wanted to vent that I feel old today. :)
September 30, 201411 yr Awww, you look beautiful, and definately look younger as I would never have guessed you having grown babies. I prefer to think on it as "gaining in wisdom" :) xx
September 30, 201411 yr Aww Nay... you are young at heart, and I think it's great! Plus, you look way younger than you are ;)
September 30, 201411 yr Hey Nay...Feeling old is a state of mind...lol...My oldest daughter will be 38 this year and my youngest turned 25... but....i like to look at it like this.. its amazing how old my girls get yet I dont seem to age...lol...when I look in the mirror its the same guy looking back that was there all along ;) there are days the aches and pains makes me think that old age might be around the corner, but I have no plans to turn that corner...just keep marching straight ahead ..lol (where have I heard that before??) But...about your comment that you did a good job raising your girls... That is the best feeling in the world!...you know that they have learned what is necessary to make wise decisions and move forward with heir lives.. you need to pat yourself on the back for your accomplishments... there is no better feeling than knowing you have made the right decisions raising your daughters...I am sure they are great girls and will always make you proud... now....forget about how old you think you must be and go outside and play with some sidewalk chalk...lol
September 30, 201411 yr Ha! You don't look a day over 30 yourself, but how is that possible?? Congrats on the accomplishment! Now go do something to pamper yourself :)
October 1, 201411 yr Don't listen to them. YOur old. but its ok, we are old too my youngest turned 23 yesterday
October 6, 201411 yr Author Thanks all for the laughs! I appreciate all of you who think I don't look old enough to have 20 something year olds for daughters, but trust me, I am. Some days I look better than other days, and of course I was at a wedding in my profile picture, so of course the hair is done, makeup and all. Makes a big difference. I don't really mind the getting older thing. What I do mind is the aches and pains, and sagging that goes along with the aging process. That I could do without. But, thanks. You guys make me smile and laugh and that's what its all about really.
October 6, 201411 yr You truly don't look nearly old enough to have a 20 year old! I sometimes get bummed out thinking about getting older - this isn't supposed to happen to me, haha. But at the very least, we have stopped hastening the process, amirite?
October 7, 201411 yr Author Agreed Ava! All I can say is take good care of yourself both inside and out, and the age thing just might be put off. And of course, there is always plastic surgery and Ms. Clairol! :)
October 7, 201411 yr I seriously assumed you were mid 20's. Congrats to you and your husband for raising such fine young women.
October 8, 201411 yr Ahhhhhh. I know how you feel. My one and only daughter will be 21 in 6 months and done with 3 years of college...Hard to believe. Gosh when I quit smoking she was 14... Times flies. Hang in there Nay! We are still rockin it!!!
