April 3, 201412 yr Privacy: As always, use caution when putting anything on the internet because things can be hacked etc. I asked the software engineer who designed this forum software if search engines could index our private, password protected forum and this was his response. "If a guest can't see it, neither can a search engine. So the answer would be no." So, I guess we have a relatively safe place to post things that you wouldn't want the entire world to see. If a member joins and is granted access to this forum and abuses it in any way, he/she will no longer have access to this private forum. Myself and the mods will stay on top of anything suspicious to further protect your privacy and the integrity of this forum. If anybody feels that the privacy on this forum is being violated, please let me or one of the moderators know so we can handle it. Enjoy being "Off The Record". :) Guidelines: "Off The Record" was created so members could have a more private forum to share things that they wouldn't necessarily want guests or lurkers to see. Topics in this forum should not be about quitting smoking because those topics should be visible for all to see as they could be helpful to those thinking about quitting or providing help to those who have already quit.
