  • ran outside 6 miles and walked 1 mile it was nice

  • I am in awe of all of you...but I am proud that after at least 15 years of total slugdom...after 3 1/2 weeks I am walking 1.6 miles in 30 minutes on my treadmill!!

Swimming with a 4 year old still knackers you but doesn't actually constitute any real exercise. Which feels unfair to be honest.

Missed spin and my trainer was sick - but did my own circuit workout

Day 2 of level 3 .... my god its a killer! Never sweat so much! I don't understand how people can enjoy torturing themselves like this! Lol ... I very much enjoy the results ... the method of achieving them however? No! :D

Yesterday, back, shoulders, biceps, calves, jog/ walk three mikes

Today, biking outside about 1 hour, 20 minutes

I ran 6.55 miles today :) Ran a total of 23.3 miles this week which is the first for me :)

Gym #1, upright rows, shoulder press, chest press, triceps extensions, bicep curls, pulley rows, lat pull downs then,  60 minutes spin :)

Rest day :) (level 3 of the shred is killing me! Lol)

Yesterday, Gym # 2, spin class 50 minutes.

Today Gym #2, upright rows, chest press, triceps extensions, linear leg press, lat pull downs, pulley row and then ran 15 minutes, walked 10.  Then tonight, Gym #1 TRX training, that was really tough tonight.

Yesterday - circuit work with my trainer. Today did some boxing and my version of running a0d0423989cfe63dbac86525c36d6b54_zpsff34

2 days of 45 minute walks due to steroid injection stopping me using my hand for now.

I will be waif like and floaty light in no time :)

Day 5 done. Halfway through level 3 and three quarters of the way through the total thing :O starting 'ripped in 30' after this :)

Gym # 2 spin class 45 minutes.  I also walked up and down 4 flights of stairs several times since I work on the 4th floor and hate elevators.

50 minute walk - found a river and some trees that I never knew were nearby.  Loving the exploring on foot :)

Day 6 done, 4 days left (although I normally take Sunday's off).

Elliptical intervals and then weights with my trainer

Well, got my butt back into exercise mode yesterday.  Starting off a bit slow right now so I don't overstress my body (I have difficulty with overproduction of cortisol, so too much strenuous exercise will cause it to rise even more).  I did 30 minutes of beginner's dance aerobics.  It made me sweat, so I feel I did good.  I will continue with that daily for a week or two and then perhaps see how my body and blood sugars are taking it.  I will continue to add more time and perhaps some weights as I go along.  But, just getting back to doing exercises daily is a definite step in the right direction.

Hi Nay nay,

If strenuous is an issue have you considered trying yoga or pilates?  They make me work but don't overly elevate my heart rate, that said I can feel the heat in my muscles so works minus sweating and over exersion.  Just an idea :) x

Day 7 level 3 of the shred done ... it's still so hard!

Yesterday off...Today, upright rows and 45 minutes spin.

Marti, yoga and pilates has been suggested because of the stress aerobics puts on the system, but in the past both always frustrated me because I'm short and round, and well those positions are hard to maintain!  So I typically don't do them, but I might try it again.
