April 9, 20197 yr Author The wedding plans are as good as final. Pretty much all that's left to do now is walk down the aisle. The only issue has been with inviting more people than we planned on initially. Fifty sounded like a good number, but once you invite your family members and closest friends accounting for their families, the list was over 50 very quickly. A small wedding is not as easy to pull off as I thought it would be. Sugar Britches has a sister-in-law who quit her full-time job to raise her kids, but works as a wedding/events planner on the side. That lady has made this process infinitely easier for the both of us. The subject of first dance songs came up in one of Jo's polls a few weeks ago. After making the decision far more complicated than it needed to be, I finally picked a song and it got the Sugar Britches Seal of Approval...

April 9, 20197 yr Geez ..... sounds like you're way further ahead than most. You got 2 more months and looks like it's a slam-dunk already. Good job! My only other tip would be to plan a restful couple of days after the wedding day. That day and the days leading up to it are so full of emotions and stress about things going right that you will both be mentally exhausted after the wedding day. A couple or three days of doing absolutely nothing afterward will be much appreciated by both of you!

We're heading over to Kiawah Island, South Carolina the day after the wedding and staying there for five days. We spent a week there last year and really enjoyed it. Found a nice rental house right on the beach complete with a pool and hot tub in the back. We might drive into Charleston during our stay. Or...it might me damn near impossible to get me out of that hot tub overlooking the ocean.

The sausage has cheddar cheese in it and just enough garlic to give it a little kick without being overpowering. Some of the best sausage I have ever tasted. I saved you a seat in the canoe and I have tasty sausages...What are you waiting for? Sausage with cheese and garlic !!! Really !!!!.....Wow !!!!!!...... I'm drooling .....
