With voting so close on Whispers (despite his disappearing act) we are faced with a dilemma... should we run a secondary 24 hour poll for the two highest ranked tips... especially if we are faced with a draw??.... Get your votes in people...

Maybe there should only be another vote if there is a tie? 

I think that is wise... If @Whispers has a tied result we will run a spesh 24hr 50/50 vote....

Ranked voting on all of the choices would have been better maybe? Choose your top two by indicating 1 or 2. Assign values to 1 and 2 then total the score at the end for all Avatars. Avatar with the biggest total number wins.

 

By the way ......... is there a personal veto option here?

In other words, does the person with the Avatar get so say F.U. if they don't like the outcome?

If there is no veto option then you better get the "Ban-Hammer" ready because we are gonna have to dispatch any rebel force who dares resist the forums democratic process!

Unfortunately @reciprocity I couldn't set the poll up with a preferential voting system so we are stuck with a first past the post.

 

On vetos... there are no vetos.. well sort of...

 

Re Sslip... he is not bound by the vote because we put him in while he was sleeping and he woke up to it.

 

Whispers and I both picked 4 of our options and then allowed the other one to pick our #5... and publicly agreed to abide by whatever was voted on for 2 weeks, regardless of what was selected conditional on a no campaigning by either of us for one option over the other... so as long as it was a fair poll we would wear the vote.

 

So long story short, Sslip can say F.U. because his was really just a plebiscite and chucked in as we would have the poll going anyway... as he was blindsided by the whole thing we are just hoping he will bow to public opinion.
