    Day 3

i hope you crashed out soon after posting this Well done on getting to Day 3! That's the only benefit you're noticing right now but it's certainly not the ONLY benefit that is happening. Excellent that you don't have any health issues, I'm same as you (had only a smokers cough ) and I have used that exact reason as an excuse not to quit before but we know deep down that's not a good enough reason to play Russian roulette. Something prompted you to throw your vape out, think about what it was and remember it. It is powerful and you can take that power away until it fades into the distance. Your dog on the left is giving the vibes it doesn't want to see you go through Day 3 again lol Keep going and stay strong,!

    Vaping

Welcome @stzr500 and sorry you're having a tough time at the moment. The good thing is you've reached out instead of giving in so that alone shows you're not willing to let this quit go so easily. Do what you have to do to get through each craving, whatever that may be (within reason of course ) until it passes. It's exhausting fighting it but remind yourself during these times that's it's temporary. That's not always possible I know but worth a try. For anxiety and depression, if you can, fit in some physical activity and eat healthier (if not already) to ensure you're getting enough nutrition which may help. You've got this.

  17. The "assault on freedom" route is what critics are fighting against here. No one wants a nanny state of course but when it comes to health, it's an obvious choice. Thanks for your input and congrats on 24+ years smoke quit!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
