  1. Congrats that is awesome!
  2. For the first few days I got up in the morning and ate immediately and often through the day to keep my blood sugar up.
  3. I would argue that you only tripped and fell, got back up and started forward again. Also, telling everyone was very courageous. What did your ticker look like as far a cigs avoided and money saved, you did not loose that.
  4. Wow that is awesome, way to go Linda!
  5. Sorry - cold turkey here as well, but I did have some NRT lozenges that made me feel better early on. As it ended up, once I knew what to expect by reading/watching videos here on the train. The encouragement and support of all the other passengers, I never ended up using them at all ...... wifee took them back and got me cake! All the best in your quit, if I can do it anyone can do it.

  16. Hi everyone With only a couple weeks quit, just a couple things I was just thinking about: When I wake in the morning I am not coughing. When I am sleeping, I can actually breath out of my nose, I never even knew being so stuffed up was caused by cigarettes'. I don't have to wash my hands the very last thing before getting into bed, because they no longer stink. I seem to have more energy, but still feel a little disconnected. Everything tastes different, almost like trying every dish for the first time to see if I like it. All good things - thanks for everyone's help and support!
  17. My favorite female singer, Pat could sing, she could hit octaves only matched by Karen Carpenter.
