  17. @garry mhudson Thank you for your kind welcome! I plan to stick around, I like it here! @KEL Yes, I too am very aware of the work-arounds and mental gymnastics that this addiction requires, like it's the most important thing in the world! Sad. Thank you Karen, for your warm welcome and kind wishes! @Tara smith Thank you so much for your kind welcome! I believe I'm at the right place too!
  18. @Mac#23Thank you for your kind welcome and support! I agree that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to this addiction and it's tricky ways! Know your enemy so you can fight it and win! I'm thinking of David and Goliath...David won!
  19. @Doreensfree I absolutely Loved your train jumping gif!!! It was not only a good image of reaching out for help(and getting it!) but it made me laugh...a great combination! Thank you for your words of support!!!
  20. @Kris Hi there! I'm not an up all night person, but I do stay up late a lot when I'm doing stuff on my phone like right now, although it's not that late yet! I hope you have a restful night tonight and good sleep too! Talk to you later!
  21. @JustSomeGuy It is wonderful that you quit because of the love you have for your son. What a gift you gave him, to hopefully have many more years together because of it! No one can replace your Dad. I know because my dear dad passed away at 79 years old this year on June 3rd because of congestive heart failure. It wasn't smoking related, but years before he had lung cancer from smoking and was blessedly cancer-free after he had 1/3 of one of his lungs removed.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
