  7. While editting your post, place the cursor just behind it, then press the backspace key. That's how I got rid of it in the quote above.
  8. @JH63, that's good that you read your pre-response SOS. If that doesn't do the trick, you can also post a new thread in the SOS area and people will come to your rescue. I know that you have a lot going on now, Jeff, but when you get some free time, you might want to read up on nicotine addiction. Doing that should help you with your mindset. Congratulations on four weeks and one day!

  22. I was scheduled to finish an 8-week program with the patch this Wednesday, 06/17. I decided to start early because if I face withdrawal, I don't want the worst days to be on the weekend. So I ripped the patch off yesterday at noon. I have one day and almost three hours patch-free. I feel pretty good so maybe it's going to be a non-event. Fingers crossed!!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
