  1. This is what they thought of the baked chicken..........
  2. I never did the pre-respond, but I think its a great idea, and love reading what everyone has written to themselves. I did however have stern words with myself at times, sometimes out loud and in public haha... but it did the trick, it kept me quit. Keep giving yourselves your own great advice.
  3. Big Congrats on 4 months Sunshine, you got a great quit going there. Hope you are celebrating .
  4. Wow that is some Big Luvly Kitty . would love a munch of him.
  5. Baking chicken for the kitties, hope they eat it!
  6. Thank you Linda, and Sorry to hear one of your golden retriever,s has been poorly. Hope you don,t have to go to the vet. My Kitties are a bit better today, still not eating much of the bland food diet they are on, but so far no sickness or diarrhoea ..eugh ..to deal with, in fact no stools at all today, hope they hav,nt gone the other way and constipated!!!! I am playing relaxing sleep music on youtube and they are out for the count...... bliss, as they were going nuts earlier!!
  7. NOPE...
  8. Nursing my kitties. They were neutered and spayed last week, and now they have a sickness and diarrhoea bug. Lady Kizzy has a buster collar on and feeling sorry for herself. They have just been to the vets again, and had an anti sickness injection. All is calm now they are sleeping.....for a bit.......
  9. So sorry to hear about your friend. I hope he will make a good recovery. As Doreen says, its a great shame most smokers don,t quit, until something serious happens.

  15. Well I went back to the garage, sat in the Mazda and decided... NOPE! it was,nt for me, so have gone with the Toyota. Hopefully collect it next week.

  17. NOPE..... OOPS posted twice today lol....
  18. ^^ indeed it would be business as usual. Up to the shop 20 fags and a packet of tunes!!! Coat, hat and scarf and out on the yard to smoke in the freezing cold, whilst feeling like crap.... what joy...NOT
  19. haha, yeah my hubby says the Rav4 is,nt a big car, but I feel it is when I drive it, probably as I have always had really small cars, and thats what I'm used to. Cars are getting bigger and bigger now. Wow 280 thousand miles, did you manage to sell it?
  20. Yeah we like Toyota's too. My hubby has a Rav4, It's a lovely car but feels too big for me. I always feel nervous driving it, and parking it hahaha! Yeah I like the white one too, that's the Mazda 2. guess I will have to test drive it and see, but going by looks, I like the Mazda and the colour. I initially wanted a black car, but I like the white ( a popular colour for cars now) and also the gun metal grey ..... hmmm choices eh! Keeping an eye on my kittens, they have been neutered and spayed today. The boy is fine, but the girl has a buster collar on and hates it.... lost count how many times she has got it off, and we have put it back on. I hate seeing her distressed, but realise she will go or her stitches if we take it off.
  21. Yay Yes!!!! mine have been much milder and I have got over them much quicker too. I just had a cold after christmas, I felt rough for 2 days, and that was it..over and done, whereas more likely it would turn into a chest infection and linger for weeks!!!! I used to shove a sore throat lozenge in my mouth and force myself to smoke...... Crazy!!
  22. I only need a small car as my hubby has a larger car, and does the driving when we go further afield and on holidays. I just potter about in mine locally, so looking at a Toyota Yaris, or Mazda 2. I looked at both today in a garage and liked them both!!! hmmm i cant make up my mind lol.
  23. Hope you feel better soon Linda. I just got over my post Christmas cold. I noticed I got over it much better than when I smoked, and how nice is it, not to force yourself to smoke, when you feel rotten! Looking online for a new car, mine is very tired now, time to trade her in.
  24. NOPE...
  25. Big WELL DONE! 2 years is amazing.....

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
