  10. A friend of mind came over and he is a walking trigger for me. I spent many many years with him partying, drinking, smoking, going out. Anyway, he didn't smoke in my house but his pack was on my coffee table. I am in awe of people who quit when their spouse smokes. I cannot imagine having my husband sit next to me and smoke all day. It must be very hard in the beginning.

  18. Omg I am suffering from perio now. I did go through several months of really bad night sweats and hot flashes. This has stopped for now. I bought a Chillow, black cohosh, melontonin and a table fan for my bedroom. :( i am exploring some hrt so we will see. I read that smoking and quitting can impact one's hormones
  19. Some times I miss the not caring, not thinking about my heath, and ingesting whatever I wanted with abandon, cigs, greasy food, cocktails, all sorts of other party favors, lying in the sun for hours sizzling. That part of my life must be over now if I want to live the rest of my life mobile, healthy, attractive.
  20. Good Sarah! It takes time to set new rituals. I was just thinking that I have not been outside in the back where the smokers go at work for a long time. I thought about this when I saw someone I used to talk to only when I was there smoking. In the beginning I used to feel bad that I was not out there with everyone. Now not only do I not care, but I forgot about it.
  21. Oh happy day my friend! Eight months quit is quite a thing to celebrate! You rock :)
