  1. My case was pretty mild. I was only feeling the effects for about a week or so and didn't have any real bad symptoms. No fever, no headaches or nausia. I had a runny nose and no taste or small and absolutely NO energy. Had to nao every day for a few hours by early afternoon; and I never nap under normal circumstances. Symptoms seem to be different for many people though. Hopefully you bounce back fast 🙏 My original Covid rapid test: My wife was away visiting her sister when I came down with it so I sent her this and said: "You might not want to come back home for a while?" lol
  2. Sorry to hear you're with the flu Chris 🤒 Stay hydrated, rest up and try to keep nourished. Not much else you can do but ride it out. Hope you're on the mend soon

  5. I did it first time; cold turkey so yes, it is possible. It was not pretty but it worked and that is the main thing.

  7. I think you are right on the symptoms issue but I know when I had it (May 21st 2022) I just knew it was not a cold or flu. It just felt different somehow. The loss of taste & smell pretty much nailed it for me as those symptoms are pretty much unique to Covid I believe, even though not all Covid people get those symptoms.
  8. So glad to hear you made that first step @susie14! Far as I'm concerned it all boils down to an unwavering commitment to stay quit and improve your life. Also, patience is key. You will be learning how to live life again without the smokes ... the way life should be but that takes time. Rinse & repeat, rince & repeat. The magic will happen but you must put in the hard work to see it through. Your mantra needs to be N.O.P.E (Not One Puff Ever!). As long as you don't light up, you'll make it and you have a whole legion of peeps behind you who actually get it! You Go Girl
  9. Good that you got things checked out. Let us know what the PCR test result is. I'd be interested. Hey; maybe it's just a cold ... you never know right? And yes, having your ability to taste things was a complete drag. Lasted a couple of weeks and to this day I'm not sure if I got all my ability to taste back.

  14. Hopefully it's just a mild case if they confirm it's Covid. I had a mild case about a year and a half ago and it wasn't too bad. Lost my sense of taste & smell for awhile and that was a drag just because food had zero taste. Let us know after you find out from your trip to UC.
