  1. Evelyn, I am sorry to hear this. It cannot be easy to lose your mom, so I don't know what that is like. However, I have lost people very close to me. What I know is this, you will always miss your mom and it will of course hurt. As time goes by, you adjust and because you have become accustomed to this new reality without your loved one...it's not as noticeable. You start to notice beautiful things again, be it birds chirping or meeting friends for lunch.

I think in the past Tracey and Action have showed up earlier and whenever we could we joined them. There have a few UK'ers known to stay much much later, lol
  6. Great job Evelyn. I see your ticker is primed and ready to go. If you have any doubts or struggles, come here to the board and talk to us, we can help you through it. Sure, we spend a lot of time joking and playing games, but quitting comes first and we will drop everything to help you keep your quit.
  7. Do you eat a lot of broccoli? That is very gassy.

Quit smoking :) When is the last time you stepped on a scale?
  14. Doreen, It must break your heart over and over to watch him struggle like that. I am sorry and you are the sweetest person, you don't deserve to feel like that. I am happy you took control of your own life though, because when it comes down to it, that is the only one we have the power to change. Hindsight is 20/20, right? I hope the rehab improves his quality of life as much as possible. Hugs to both you and Tony.

Lest we forget....8 pm be there or be square lol. Bring your wine, Vodka, coffee, tea or rain water. Alcohol not required, just understand some of us get a bit silly and there are few that like to streak naked in the chat room. Not me of course ;)
