  7. the beginning is always a drag (no pun intended. Well....maybe haha) However.... sticky quits only have 1 beginning and never again :) You got this.
  8. a big fat HUGE NOPE!!!!
  9. Honest to goodness.......and I mean this with all sincerity and clarity (meaning, I am not being delusional or forgetting the discomforts and challenges of quitting)... Seriously and truthfully............the discomfort of being a smoker.... was 100,000,000 times worse than the actual quit itself. I cannot stress this enough Seriously!!! The quit was a climb...every day...one day at a time..but with it came so much joy and pride on the other moments I wasn't struggling. On the other hand...as a smoker.. I was self loathing, and craving, and hiding and sneaking, and pissed at myself for being "weak" and wanting to smoke when I couldn't, and wanting to quit when I was smoking..and the hacking, and the smell...and the look of disappointment of the faces on the people who cared about me....OMG...too much to list.. THAT discomfort....wow......I can't believe I survived it...NOT quitting...but being a smoker...I can't believe I lived like that Every day Every 20 minutes. UGGGGHHHHHHH Come to this side of the fence folks! I PROMISE you it's the only time in life where the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence! :)
  10. Stop!! (smoking) Drop!! (that cigarette) and Roll!! (with the Quit Train) Take back control of your life!

  14. absolutely NOPE Not today Not ever
  15. Myth: "I'll quit someday" Truth: 'Some day' in itself is a Myth. The only Truth is to make a conscious decision to never take another puff. Pick a date and never look back.

    -11 hi everyone!
  17. Lol. First time seeing this. Partied too much in the 90s. You are probably right.
  18. You got this Evelyn. No. Matter. What. NOPE!!
  19. You know how I know you've grown? Cause you didn't get offended by what Sarge said. Not that horrible things haven't happened to you. They did. Horrible horrible stuff. Stuff most people wouldn't even begin to understand or identify with and it has left you with major major scars. But even with all that....smoking will not help. Smoking doesn't take the pain away. It adds to it. When you were on a winning streak and sticking to NOPE--you felt better than you have in your whole life. Never go backwards. Only forwards. You are a warrior Evelyn because you are a survivor. Just the fact that you are still here on this earth, and here on this quit site. Life knocks you down, and you get back up fighting. Make this your final fight against the nicodemon. Make it so no matter what life throws at you...despite your struggles...you stick to NOPE. EVERY DAY. NO. MATTER WHAT. Xo
