  1. Hi Kendra, what you are saying is very true. And for the first 3 weeks or so, your mind is going to be racing all over the place! But it does get better, and you will start seeing the benefits of not smoking. That's when being a nonsmoker becomes rewarding rather than a seemingly endless slog! Hang in there, you are doing great :)
  2. It's true, addiction sucks! But, you have the strength to beat it once and for all - and we will do what we can to help :) Good for you for not giving up giving up :)
  3. Yay RF, super congrats for you :d
  4. Welcome and congratulations :)

  7. Do you see where it says 'QT Tickers' near the top of the page? Go there, and there should be I instructuons how to do it. Congratulations on day 8 :d
  8. Wow, congrats DF, you are awesome :)
  9. That's awesome Joe. And I have to say, the number of girls in your family must be getting close to a record!
  10. Hi Tina, I know how you feel, I've been there myself! But you haven't smoked for 5 whole days, amazing! You have 0 nicotine in your system, and you don't want to have to start your quit all over again! I promise, it is worth it to stay smoke free :)

  15. Nice to meet you Martina :) No, your analogy doesn't sound ridiculous at all, but very normal indeed. You have seen first hand what can happen if you let the addiction back in for only a minute... We are all nicotine addicts, and we must not ever let our guard down. After time, the cravings will subside - I hardly ever have any thoughts of cigarettes now, which is nice :)
