  2. Time heals all things Evelyn. You will absolutely feel better one day, sooner rather than later.

  5. Hi Lila, nice to meet you. Right now, it's your Will vs the Crave. Either you will win, or the cigarette will win. You are a very strong person, awhile the cigarette is just an inanimate object that has no power but that which we give it... make the right choice, and you will win. Congratulations on 3 days :good:

  20. Oh dear Ria, sorry to hear that. Still NOPE!
  21. Having a cigarette will only scratch the itch, not make it go away (eg any relief you get is only temporary)... The only way to overcome these cravings is to stop smoking for good - I can honestly say I probably haven't had a craving for 3 or 4 months at this point; and you can do this too. We can't say for sure if your voice is caused by smoking, but I think we can all pretty much guarantee that continuing to smoke isn't going to make it any better! Throw those remaining cigarettes down the toilet and start being smoke free from now on. NOPE!
  22. Hello, nice to meet you, congratulations on your awesome quit :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
