  1. Fantastic work Doreen. You were always there for me. A gentle, kind and caring inspiration. Thank you.
  2. Me too - For every milestone. Well done you! Keep on keepin' on!
  3. Another for the Lido deck eh? Get the Champers on Ice!! Bakon. Get dressed.
  4. Just busy Porky. :D As an Irish writer friend said to me; "Ah... the book? Well, I'm almost done with the page numbers." It's tough to write at the moment. You make up a really weird story that you are sure will push things to the limit... Then you read The Donald's latest tweets. Back to the drawing board
  5. Well, there we are. 3 years. Blow me down! Thanks everybody! Keep on keeping on!
  6. Man in a skirt. Here.
  7. Hey Nik Good News. Well done on not smoking. Bad News. People will still be PITA now that you have quit. Best News. Every day, as a non-smoker, you will get a lot better at dealing with this type of stress. Keep on keepin on. ;)
  8. Hi Nochoice. Welcome aboard. Those first few days are a bitch aren't they? None of us here are superheroes (with the possible exception of Bakon, he's cool) and we managed it. Big girl panties on. Grit your teeth and promise yourself to relish every crave. They are signs that you are winning. You really can do this. Great decision to quit.
  9. Good morning Evelyn. You, better than most, know what to do. Sit, sip some water. Write down the benefits of quitting. Laugh and smile. The crave will pass. No problem Evelyn.

    ....

Sorry to read this. Fingers crossed the procedure goes well.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
