  8. Thanks for asking. Today is my 12th day with no smoking or vaping! It's getting easier but of course there are still triggers popping up. I just do a little box breathing and they go away. Last night I went to dinner and a play with some friends. It was so awesome to enjoy every moment without thinking about when I could go smoke!!

  10. I guess being bombarded with the radiation therapy is going to have these side effects. I hope things get easier on you as you go and Monday's treatment isn't as exhaustive.
  11. AMEN BROTHER!! (He says after having a 2nd session of radiation for lung cancer.)😡 Snuff those nasty things out for good before they do the same to YOU!
  12. Well shit 5 nitro last night after working hard in the heat. I guess too hard? And I guess I don't know how to take it easy when it comes to work. A lifetime of being proud of bustin ass and to slow down is something that doesn't come easy, in fact I don't even know I've taken it too far until it's too late. With the last stents having to use nitro was fairly rare now it's still fairly constant. My cardiologist's comment to this is what 66 year old man with heart disease and 6 stents in place works like you do, turns out she had talked with my daughter. I said my father...🤨 Spending this evening continuing my search for the right bypass surgeon since there is no doubt it's coming. Sorry about the depressive post but needed to ramble. Damn frickin cigarettes! To you new quitters, like myself, stick to your guns and take that crap off the table, do it for keeps before you finally understand what you are doing is what's for keeps!!! KTQ Stew
  13. Nope for Friday.😎
  14. Happy Friday everyone! NOPE!
  15. Had my 2nd session yesterday mid-afternoon. Again, no immediate issues. Was sitting on the couch later, about dinner time, and suddenly out of nowhere it hit me! A feeling of complete and utter exhaustion washed over me in seconds. It was like nothing I've ever felt before. Can't even really explain it accurately; not a feeling of being tired and wanting to lay down but simply a feeling like I wanted to melt into a puddle right there on the couch and just not move anything! I eventually forced myself to get up and go to the kitchen for a glass of water then back to the couch. It was not a pleasant feeling at all! Felt OK again this morning, maybe a little slower/weaker than normal but not too bad. Hoping not to see that happen again Monday after my next session? We'll see ...
