  3. I still think of it too when I get pissed... but... as you saw on fb I came in close contact with a smoker yesterday. She stunk and I mean freakin' stunk. Every she coughed you heard that rattle, holy sh*t it was just horrible. It was such a turnoff and I feel awful that it once was me who stunk that way but couldn't smell myself. Screw what judgmental people think, they are no better than you, and you shouldn't be made to feel bad about your life choices.

  6. Great Post and Reminder. I esp. like you saying," my poor body was actually trying to alert me that it needed attention in some way." Great way to realize the body is/was asking for something other than the rapacious creditor, Nicotine.

  7. I was just thinking about this, Jules. Thinking about what I know and keep private. What I Know Now about myself nearing a year Free from Nicotine. I know I have the ability to Change. I know have the ability to commit to something for success. I know I have the ability to face fears. These, I mostly keep to myself but, they give me a sort of Glow. I know from a warm good feeling about myself inside and from a clarity in my eye. I did not back down. I will not back down. Like our Sarah says, "I am a Tiger ! RARRRR!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
