  7. Thank you so much! It means a lot someone out there is truly going through the same situation! You got this!
  8. Well I wanted to give an update. The patches really haven't been working so I am going to attempt cold turkey and see if that helps. I did quit last year for 5 months on the gum. But I keep reading cold turkey has the best chance of lasting. Plus I feel like if I just get the nicotine out as quick as possible it would help keep me off. Nicotine is out of your body in 3 days. In three days it is my nieces birthday so I will be nicotine free for the first time in her life. Once again thank y'all for the help and I'm going to keep going until I can finally quit.
  9. Congratulations!
  10. Big well done to you.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
