32 smoke free days is brilliant @Orion so well done! Good to hear you're having some better days and feeling the benefits of not smoking. Regarding how you feel emotionally, if you can exercise, even light exercise, please do give it a try. It releases endorphins. It's probably the last thing you want to do but it's worth it. Make sure you go outside once a day, even for a short walk, put some feel good music on and take in your surroundings.. I'm not saying the above will fix your emotional state but it can possibly help stabilise it. Also when you do feel sad, allow yourself to cry and to process your feelings rather than suppressing them. I'm learning that quitting smoking is a journey, it's not just about never smoking again. You start to learn how you deal with day to day life. You're doing really well and remember, smoking will not make you feel better.

Thanks again everyone. I am now on Day 32! I am still having a lot of low days but I am having some better ones too. I really appreciate that I am not smoking as my lungs feel better and my skin is so much clearer. I also smell better lol. I just wish I felt more myself though. Its like I am a different person wanting to socially withdraw and not go to work - everything is overwhelming BUT I need to just keep moving forwards and it will get easier. Well done on your quits too xxx

Welcome Marisol! (Glad you gave your name so I don't have to call you Grotesque) That's great you want to quit and it'll be a decision you won't ever regret! Have you set a date yet? What about using aids or going cold turkey? Having a plan in place will certainly help you. There's lots of support/videos/threads on this site that will help you and of course people here can give advice and support you. You're making the right decision and you can do this!
