Well, folks.  I have officially made it a week!  Last Tuesday night, I smoked the last one.  Still feeling the pull.  Still a little scared that I'll get overwhelmed and cave in, but.........so far, so good.  Some kind of reward this weekend, I'm thinking.  I just wish the weather would get cooler so that I can get out and walk.  I just cannot take the heat and humidity.  Afraid of gaining weight, but cannot let that get in the way.  I can only deal with one thing at a time.  The quit is my first priority.

Congratulations on one week!!    You definitely need to think of a reward...some special treat!

Congratulations on one week bjean! That's a really big deal. Try not to worry too much about what lies ahead and take pride in what you've already accomplished. You're doing great!

Congratulations Bjean.  Baby steps eventually turn into leaps and bounds.

You're right on track and doing great.

Congratulations, bjean!  You've gotten through the worst week of all.  Just keep going, living in the (smoke-free) moment.  KTQ!

Well done bjean! That 1st week is without question the most difficult. You seem to have a really great attitude toward this quitting thing. Take it a bit at a time is right at this stage. Before you know it, your time as a non-smoker will start to pile up :)

Keep at it lad! You´´ll reach the first year before you know it and then you´ll look back and ask what was all the fuzz about. It´ll fell strange and funny, and you´ll know you have suceeded. Victory is in your reach!
