That was the original plan...now they have changed to total destruction of the upstairs, so that the new floor can be put in the whole space.  I think the plan is to have all the painting, wiring, hvac vents, etc, so that the floor can go down in two weeks, then all the new stuff can be delivered.  Fortunately, we have a bedroom downstairs, but as of today all cooking will have to be grill or microwave...it is an adventure!

At least you saved from demise the bananas and wine!  :) 

 

Next Christmas you'll be standing in your home thinking "isn't this fabulous!".

Will be SO worth it in the end! and meanwhile, a good excuse for eating out, or take-away???? :P
