The Cost of Smoking

Featured Replies

Sad, isn't it?

Glad we are free of that!

Wow, now that my friends is an eye opener

I never knew many of the additional costs. Thanks for putting this together! I may just make this my background for a while.

Hi Colleen,

Good post !!!

I would like to add, that smoking also cost all of us a tremendous amount of our *TIME*.

If you smoked a pack a day, that means that we spent at least 1 hour a day (3-4 minutes for each cigarette x 20) smoking, as time completely lost or as time distracted.

It is difficult to quanitify in financial terms the value of this lost time, but for all of us it as considerable.
