Congratulations @SD2026 on 1 month smoke free!🎉  The most difficult month in the quit, IMO.  You are doing really well and should be proud of yourself.  Stay close to this forum and you will make it to the Lido deck before you know it.  Onward to month 2.

It does get better @SD2026, each month will get a bit better and by the time you are at a year, you shouldn't have these withdrawal symptoms anymore.  You may get an occasional urge but it's much different than the ones you are experiencing now.  They are basically few and far between and go away in a few seconds to a couple mins.  You will get there, just keep doing what you are doing!!👍😃

That's the worst of quitting done & dusted! 1 whole month smoke free is a huge step forward toward a life time of smoke-free living!

You've developed a nice tool kit of quitting tools to fight the sneaky nico demon when he comes calling and trying to get you to abandon your fight. Use every tool in your tool kit to fight for your freedom. You have so much invested and by now you know you CAN make it!

Congrats and treat yourself with something very nice to mark this important milestone👍

Well done @SD2026!! The first month can be tough at times, but you’ve built some mighty strong quitting muscles! 💪 And the feedom is worth fighting for. You’re on the road now!

Thanks All!  I appreciate the great support on this site from you all.  😊

Other positives are I'm using hand cream like it's going out of fashion to aid the hand to mouth habit, so my hands are super soft lol
