Crappy day

Featured Replies

Having a bad day today!!

Bunch of running around to do.

Trying to be positive but the negativity is

creeping in. Took the dog for a walk. My tool

box is empty tonight. Having my own little pity party.

You could watch some funny commercials or look through the joke thread @Linda, those always make me smile :)  Hang in there, hopefully tomorrow will be better...........

I feel you @Linda... had a super duper crappy day of my own recently. Hang in there. This too shall pass. Maybe like a kidney stone, but pass it will. 😆 And till it does, I highly recommend ice cream, binge-watching cooking shows, and making your pets happy. ❤️

PS: Beg to differ with "my tool box is empty." Your addiction wants you to *think* it's empty, to discourage you and make it easier to tempt you. But the truth is that you have a bunch of tools. You posted here. You walked your dog. And you probably did a bunch of other things today to cope. I'm not saying this to try to blow sunshine up your butt - some days just stink! But having a cruddy day doesn't mean you're weak, it just means the universe dealt you a stinker of a day. A better day will come your way sometime soon. Hang in there!

I get you, some days and today is one for me as well oh boy! Hang in there Linda.

For me people sometimes get super annoying and its not like the good old days when you could just punch them in the face.

@overcome Yes the punching someone has come to mind to me lol

But I will pass on that it might hurt😂 You hang in there too!!

Irritability, anxiousness & restlessness were my least favorite quit symptoms when I was in the early days of my quit. The main thing that I turned to was breaking away from whatever situation that was causing me grief and doing some deep breathing in order to calm myself although, fisting a few peeps in the face may have also felt pretty good - until I was arrested for assault 😒

You know it's true though that all quit symptoms eventually disappear completely yet the many benefits you'll receive by quitting remain with you for life!

I’m sorry that you had a rough day Linda. Hoping that today is a much better day for you!

Aww Linda ....

Life can throw out some crap sometimes ....

I had a punching pillow ...maybe you could try this too....Boy did I feel good watching it fly through the air .

And you won't get arrested ...

Music ....

Singing along to your favourite tunes ...the louder the better ...this also got me through some rough days .

Your tool box is not totally empty ....you have us ..the board ...play some numbers ...we sure could do with them ...🐸
