I also used to think cleaning took all day

Featured Replies

I didnt go to work today...stayed home so I could take care of myself.:) So i decided i would do some cleaning. And I am amazed at how much cleaning can get done so quicky without having to take a cig break after every task. I turned the music on and cleaned AND...had fun doing it!!! Another lie.

NOPE AND BYE BYE NICOTINE!

This is one of my FAVORITE reasons for quitting - getting back all of that extra time!  Glad you are taking care of yourself!

Extra time !!!!...phew I thought you meant cleaning..!!!!

Ya nice 1.... Smoking was very time consuming.... Have fun with all the time for fun stuff !!!

In the first couple of weeks of my quit I was  totally surprised how much time smoking took.  It’s crazy.

Seems that if I wasn’t smoking my mind was occupied with thoughts of smoking.

Enjoy your new found freedom and remember, cigarettes do nothing for you. They take away your time, your money and your health.

Here here. Used to take me all day to clean 1/3 house cause of smoke breaks. Now I clean the whole house (or most of it) in one day! So awesome quitting is.

Never gave it much thought but you are right. I would dust downstairs, then “ reward” myself . Broke all chores down like this , sad really.

I do not believe there is a correlation between cleaning and smoking.

My room mate has never done either one in her entire life.

NOPE is an expression some smokers use to mean "Not one  puff ever". It is about not smoking again.

The expression you want is "Oh hell no". That is when someone wants you to clean their house.
