Thank you! It truly is wonderful! What I find amazing is how easy it is to be a non smoker!

IT feels wonderful!! I love not smoking. Life is so much less stressful. I don't miss the slavery I had to cigarettes and I don't miss the anxiety of them. I never... ever... thought I'd be a happy non smoker, but here I am!
  3. Ahh.. that's how I got in. The restrictions are low! :P
  4. **** Side Note about the stress/anxiety. Isn't it amazing how much stress and anxiety smoking causes. Its one of the best side effects of quiting smoking. I'm not as stressed out and anxious!

First off, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is terrific news! Second. Quit for you. You are starting out quiting for the baby, but once you realize how wonderful it is to not be tied down to that addiction any longer... the feeling is WONDERFUL. I'll let the rest of the great crew here give you the tips on your sugar levels and drinking cranberry juice and making sure you keep something on your stomach for the quiting smoking and the vomiting. And again congrats to you!

Celebration or not, good for you Sarge!
  10. I wish stopping smoking cigarettes was as easy for me as it was to quit smoking pot. But it wasn't. Pot, I just stopped and never looked back. Cigs, was a struggle. What I wish for you Tiff is for you to get to the point where it isn't a struggle any more. I'm there and I love it. But it was a struggle for the first 9 months or so for me, daily, but that is my wish for you. For the struggle to ease.
  11. Hi, My name is Rebecca and I'm a smoke-a-holic. I have been smober for almost 18 months. Oh Tiff, if you could just admit that you are an addict and accept that and work with it, you will be so much happier and better off. At 17 months, even stressful situations don't make me want to smoke. Boredom doesn't want to make me smoke. I am no longer a smoker, but I am still addicted to nicotine. One puff would do me in and awaken all those cravings.
  12. For the first 12-13 months, it was just money stashed for a down payment. Now.. its the car payment on my new wheels. and the occasional Starbucks.
  13. It shows almost 15,000 cigs I haven't smoked since I quit in Feb 2013. That just absolutely boggles my mind.

  17. I grew up in the next county over from Holmes County. Thought it might be interesting if that was where you were at!
  18. I bought a car and have most of the car payment paid from the money I don't burn up smoking. Isn't it great!
  19. Is he like the sweetest member ever? :air_kiss:

Can't even go into the bathroom without one or 4 cats clawing under the door!
  21. Do you live in or around Holmes County Ohio?
  22. What a pain in the ass smoking was! This habit (cough cough) is such a pain. You have to make sure you have all the necessary items, lighters, cigarettes, have enough cigarettes, etc. And for me. Here at work we are not aloud to smoke. I literally got written up for smoking here. So it was a pain in the ass to find a place to hide to smoke. Yes, sadly I was reverted back to high school mentality that I had to find a place to hide so I could get my fix. Smoking is just so not worth the hassle.
