  10. Welcome, Steve, and good job getting right back on your quit. I understand the premeditated relapse. Early on I would often plot a weekend relapse on Friday afternoon at work but somehow always managed to just barely talk myself out of stopping for cigs on the drive home. When I finally completely took the option of smoking off the table and stopped (most of) the arguments in my head, the quit became easier. You're well on your way again with about 10 days in, so keep the momentum and don't give yourself permission to turn back now.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
