  1. I bet the tornado watch kept a bunch of them at home tonight @johnny5. I sure don't miss those one bit! People always ask me if I rather live in tornado weather since I was raised in Alabama or earthquakes now that I'm in California and I'll take the earthquakes any day over those scary tornados
  2. She's got a big mouth
  3. Here too @Joe7, luckily hubby bought candy we like lol. It's weird though because it was a beautiful warm day here and there's no school tomorrow so we thought we'd have a bunch of goblins. One little girl came dressed up like a cop and when she said trick or treat I told her I thought she was here to arrest me. I heard the dad laugh but the girl just looked at me funny
  4. So far a pretty quiet Halloween. I sure hope we get more goblins or I'm going to be eating a lot of candy!

  21. Hi old man coffee, welcome to our train of quitters The mental fog is one of the worse quit symptoms. Most of us had to deal with it too. Try sucking on something sweet or drinking juice. I was hooked on soft peppermint puffs my whole first year I too stayed close to home my first month quitting and only ventured out when my never smoker husband could go with me because I didn't trust myself to not stop and buy a pack. Missing a few games of pool is a small price to pay for kicking this addiction after all 18 days is fantastic so be super proud of yourself. We have a great group here so I hope you stick around and check out all our many forums. Lots to do to educate yourself as well as keep your mind off smoking
  22. Hi Heather, I'm glad you're past your bad day. Like Jordan, I was more irritated at everything than sad. Does your work know you quit? Sometimes it helps to tell the people you're always around that you've quit so they'll cut you some slack. I'm glad you came and posted about it. Writing it down helps get it off your chest. And you help others who are going through the same thing along the way
  23. Happy Halloween!
  24. Don't understand new cellphone error Error

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
