  2. Hey @Katgirl, you do what works for you! We've got other members who've done the same and been successful. A lot of people don't agree with my JAC (jillars air cigarette) but it worked so well for me I pass the clue to others. There's others still who don't agree with using NRTs. There's actually other quit smoking sites that are only for cold turkey quitters! My point is it doesn't matter how you get there as long as you get there. And now others aren't going to agree with my reply lol.
  3. Rey, I think you and I and everyone knows that picking a date never works. The lead up to it is torture! I found myself chain smoking leading up to it and if I still had cigarettes left than it was put off again and again. I quit like @Katgirl did, I just decided on Memorial day weekend in 2016 that instead of going to buy another pack that that would be that. And so it was. You're here now surrounded by fellow quitters to support and guide you to your forever quit so why not just take that leap of faith?!

  6. Nice choice @Katgirl, it'll update all on its own.

  9. Lately I've been buying the lightweight cat litter instead of the regular and got to thinking, how is 15 pounds of lightweight litter not as heavy as 15 pounds of regular litter?
  10. Hang in there @Katgirl, seems our emotions are on overdrive for a while when we quit. It takes time but it will get so much better. I'm glad you have a great guy there for you and now you have us too
  11. That's why we come here everyday too Gus, to pay it forward for all the support we got! Now young lady you REALLY need to redo your ticker, you have WAY more time than its showing

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
