  1. Congrats, Boo! Cheers for three years!!! Celebrate and KTQ!
  2. Congrats, Lin! What a milestone to have....hope you are doing well and celebrating it in your own special way! Stop by once in a while and give us the scoop!?
  3. NOPE (got 6 inches of heavy wet snow on Sunday night here!)
  4. I will be bagging up clothes for Big Brother Big Sister for Lent - my goal is at least 40 bags donated!
  5. @notsmokinjo - Not quite sure what that means....when I start to giggle then that's enough milk? ?
  6. I grew up doing similar stuff in my neighborhood, @Linda Thomas! Oh, how I loved catching pollywogs and watching them transform into baby frogs! I did not start until 18 either....and didn't learn how to "inhale" until probably 19! I regret all the time I wasted and the damage it caused my body but am grateful that I have had the last 2 years to get myself into a good place both physically and mentally since quitting.
  7. Yah, temp dropped quickly and now lot's of heavy snow coming down....last report I saw said we now may get 8-10 inches by me.....I am retired now, so don't have to worry about getting to work in the a.m. either, @Whispers! Don't have to leave my house until Wed afternoon the earliest....lucky me!
  8. Yup, snowing out here now...but nothing sticking yet....latest weather report has downgraded the amt of snow expected to 2 - 4 inches...but I worry more about the fact that it may turn into an icy rain and the temps are expected to drop big-time!!!
  9. I had my last poison stick right after the doctor at urgent care told me I had a stroke. Imagine this, crazy as it sounds - my friend was bringing me to the emergency room and I told him I was not getting into his truck until I smoked one last poison stick....cuz I knew it would be the last one I would ever have!!!! That was over 2 years ago now!!!! I am so happy I no longer smoke......
  10. Yes, Whispers, I still have most of my driveway covered in snow from yesterday (I can no longer shovel snow as per my cardiologist!)....and I have my pool cover water draining onto it -off to one side - it's 45 degrees here today!!! Sometime between now and 7 pm the winter storm is supposed to start! Off to gas up my CRV!

Congrats, Jimmy and Mrs. Jimmy! Six years is sensational! Celebrate and KTQ! ?
  12. We had a little bit of snow here yesterday....2-3 inches. I never even went outside...just watched from inside while on my comfy sofa! Later today we are expected to get 4- 6 inches of heavy, wet snow. Hmmm, I need to get out to the store as I was busy all week and my fridge is quite empty... Note: My essentials are diet soda, dark chocolate, low sodium chips and dog food for my pups! Poison sticks used to be top of that list of essentials.....but no more!!
  13. Congrats, WantsIt! Four months is fabulous! Celebrate and KTQ! ?
