I lived up by Fort Bragg for about 8 yrs or so, an never saw one.. moved down here close to the NC SC boarder and there they are...can't get a straight story on them from the locals tho.. some say a couple escaped from a circus back in 1800(something) others say it's just a mutation.. an then theres the story that some school teacher (somewhere around) bred them, but they escaped from him back in the '40 ( i think - don't hold me to the time frame on that last one).. get a different answer everytime i asked someone LOL!
