  1. A shame they are still smoking mammy... They are not as clever as you!
  2. Congratulations Jenny, a fantastic achievement by a lovely lady
  3. I'm still here, more than 2 years after my pledge. I guess you are stuck with me guys, even if I'm not here as often as I used to be. I haven't thought about smoking a cigarette for bloody ages now; it's been so long that I can't even remember!
  4. imagine being seated next to someone on the plane who had just spent ages in there... its not right!
  5. Here's the info - http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/36329053/whats-going-on-with-cigarette-packets-as-menthol-cigarettes-are-banned-from-2020 No more 10 packs (I didn't know this), and menthol to be banned by 2020. There is something in there about e-cigarettes Tracey, about limiting the amount of something-or-other. I can't be too hard on e-cigs, as my dad has used them to quit real cigs... So for the time being, I can't complain too much :good:
  6. Agreed with Sunny, I don't watch it anymore. Plus, it's not even just European anymore, it's just all about the money and politics - the US will be in within a few years so they need to change the name!
  7. Welcome :good: Quitting can feel very lonely when everyone else around you smokes and secretly (or sometimes not so secretly), wants you to fail... That is why fining support groups online is such a great help, not only for support, but also for information. Without these guys, I never would have been able to break free from this addiction. My life has been transformed since I kicked the habit, but I still come here when I can to try to help others. Stick around, and take in as much information as you can. there are some inspirational people here who can help you to quit for good. :)
  8. Hello Jess :) Good to see you. You can do it!
  9. I am still around somewhere guys! NOPE from me :good:
  10. Hi! Congratulations on your quit :good:

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
