Hiya Tom great to have you here, congrats on deciding to quit, I never told anyone when I quit either, I was fed up telling them and failing every couple of months, felt better not telling, good idea. I am 36 and have 3 kids, my 8 year old son hated me smoking and would beg me to quit and wouldn't kiss me cos I stank, the way I see it what was the point in me having kids if I won't be around long enough for them due to my stupidity, they deserve to have their mammy as long as possible, you can do this Tom and you will do it, before you know it you will love being a non smoker and I love telling doctors etc that I don't smoke, Keep reading and posting, we've got your back, don't ever be afraid to ask us for help. My dope of a husband, he left his work laptop on the bus with our house keys and a load of other important things because the feckinggg idiot was soo drunk and fell asleep on the bus and woke up and got off miles away from the stop he should have gotten off and left it on there, eventually made it home at 5.45 am minus laptop, urghhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Hey Vic, welcome and good on you for deciding to quit, especially while you are still young, this will be the best thing you could ever do for yourself, check back by 1pm and let us help you, you could start a blog here aswell if you want, it helped alot of people, writing down how you are feeling and seing how much the craves disappear day after day, Post an sos if you are having a real hard time and they will be like a swarm of bees coming to rescue you, Here if and when you need us, Sue xx

Hiya and congrats on quitting, don't worry we will mind ye, this will be your final sticky quit, keep reminding yourself when you get a crave how fed up of smoking you were and you decided to quit sooner because you were sick to death of smoking, that's what I do, I tell myself if I have the very odd crave there's no point giving in because I know I will be back to hating them and wanting to quit probably within a day to a week of relapsing and remind myself how much I use to dream of being able to say I was a non smoker in doctors or hospitals etc oh and my skin is looking pretty damn good so happy days, No bother to you pet, this is your time, Sue xx
