  5. Ya ... none of us could justify our smoking either. We just celebrated your 3 month smoke free anniversary. What is the longest you've ever not smoked? Perhaps you just chose (again) not to smoke for a little while leaving this option open instead of taking the "Commitment Oath" to smobriety no matter what ... "till death do we part"? Positive self-talk helps us keep our promises made to ourselves. I hope you get back on the train and ride it to the end. It IS doable for you.

  7. Gday I’ll put this bluntly. I quit this final time due to pneumonia. What keeps me quit is COPD. Just don’t want that for you…..
  8. Cbdave started following Down in a Hole
  9. It's the 28th again? NOPE
  10. Hello friends, I'm sorry to say I relapsed a few days ago. Lust... self destruction... I can't justify such a stupid choice. The important thing is I'm climbing back on the train right now.
  11. Gday If you get ashma or have COPD you’ll know about Prednisone. It’s a steroid that works really well to clear your chest. I’m sure it’s universally hated. Makes you feel shaky and a bit spacey so I’m glad they keep you on it for a short period. It works well and fast. The tablet that QG is possibly a hormone blocker used for breast cancer treatment. Another version exists for prostate cancer. So unless you’d like to get in touch with your feminine side, it’s not used for lung cancer.
  12. Nope! ❤️
  13. I'm doing okay I hope you are well @SD2026 thank you for asking. Your gonna get that message that I quit 24 hours 😏
  14. He has never mentioned any medication other than what he told me yesterday if I end up with this persistent cough issue (which I hope I don't ). We'll see what happens after I'm done I suppose.
  15. Gday You are indeed the most cruel and heartless person….. In the southern clims were not fully out of winter yet and will not be seeing fruit like that for many months. That picture will haunt my mind now till I get to bbq some. Sigh….
  16. N.O.P.E. 🙏
  17. This is not dinner but an after dinner dessert. This time of year where I live it's peach season and there's a ton of local peach farms all around this area. I'm not a particular fan of eating just a peach but one of my fav desserts is BBQ'ed peaches. Just cut the peach in half, pit it then sprinkle some cinniman powder on the open halves and throw them on the Barbie for8-10 mins; just long enough to soften them and get a few grill marks on 'em. Then serve them on a plate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with a lttile real maple syrup. The end result is truly a delectable delite Juices from the peach caramelized, melting ice cream and just a hint of the maple syrup. Yum-yum! The outer skin of the peach slides right off once the peach is cooked👌
  18. NOPE for today!
