Apple turnovers yep they're pretty much flaky apple pies. Apple slice, that's basically an apple pie using shortbread instead of pastry. What's the obsession with apple all of a sudden? 

My house is pineappless.... and they burn my mouth to eat atm.... but I have a bag of grannies and i don't feel like crumble but I need to use them. My dad likes my apple cake, should I make one for him?
