January 30, 20188 yr I have to put drops in Teds eye 3 times a day... Now if you have ever owned a cat you will know this is no easy task... He sees me coming...he hides.....he's having none of it...... The vet wants to see him next week...hoping for a improvement.... I managed 1 drop out of 6....is he kiddin.... Twunkybollocks......
January 30, 20188 yr We have our own issues here with cats at the moment. Got a female abandoned cat that we just had spayed. She is growling and biting and clawing everything she can the past day or so. Frost-bite nose and the incision area are still healing so I guess it's not happy days yet but hey, at least she's got warmth now right? The collar of shame to keep her from licking her incision area is not helping I'm sure. We can't even get close enough to tie up the strings that keeps the collar around her neck. When does your daughter get there? She could hold the cat while you dump drops in it's eye maybe? If the timing there isn't right then you'll just have to hold the cat's head with one hand while you squeeze the drops in his eye with the other hand. January 31, 20188 yr If you can get ahold of him, try wrapping him snugly in a sheet with just his face exposed. You’ll have a good chance of getting the drops in this way. He’ll be seriously pissed off but maybe the eyes will heal.

Just be careful that he doesn't start shaking you down now. My neighbors have a chocolate lab. He gets something in his mouth, usually a shoe, and won't let go. They started offering him a treat in return for him dropping what he had in his mouth. Now he works that angle hard. He grabs something of theirs, then finds them and just stares until he gets his treat. That dog has turned into an extortionist.
