  • Absolutely.  Running the upper and middle sections of the Ocoee tomorrow and have a bit of fun riding waverunners on Parksville Lake Sunday.   Get your gear ready Doreen.  I'll pick you up at Cherok

  • We always get a non-smoking room.  Doesn't stop us from burning up the sheets though.   That's what love looks like.

Not to interrupt this lovefest but just wanted to say I love Tennessee. Everytime I see Boo's location, I think about a family trip we took down South. I remember staying in a cabin in a place called

Here's a set of rapids you guys can try! Watch out for that last one though .... it's a doozy!!

Boo..are we ??????

About that...this weekend failed to live up to the hype.  The weathermen were predicting copious amounts of rain in the Chattanooga area.  The remnants of tropical storm Cindy were supposed to roll through and make for a wet and wild weekend.  I was geeking out imagining high gauges and cubic feet per second numbers not seen in years around here.  It only rained for about 45 minutes yesterday and has been dry ever since.

Did get in a late-day run on Suck Creek yesterday.  So it wasn't a total loss.

Normal people are happy when it doesn't rain on the weekend.  But please...won't someone think of the creekers, river rats, and dirtbags.

Ottawa River south of Pembrooke Ont. (Can). gets super gnarley at times and we've had nothing but train this year so far!

River porn.  I got excited looking at that picture.

I rafted there a few years ago. Was great!!

Back in the day, I worked summers as a raft guide at Ocoee and Nantahala.  Never had more fun "working" in my life.

Boo..are we running..or canoing...????.....trainers.. Or plastic croc,s.....

Break out the formal wear for Saturday.  A friend of mine is getting married and yours truly is a groomsman.  Even got a haircut yesterday.

And it's a long weekend, Tuesday is Independence Day here in the states, so we'll get in an Ocoee run on the Fourth.

Depending on when I have to return the suit, I may wear the tuxedo canoeing.  I'll be the snazziest dude on the river.

Cummerbunds make rad headbands . Be certain to tell the Bride that she looks beautiful (and give a wink to the young gals serving punch, it'll make their summer.)

Tennessee Tuxedo will not fail.

I only break out the Daisy Dukes on special occasions.

Most men will never fully commit to a pair of jorts like Lemmy did...
