I joined a Bona Fide Athletics club and would like to try a 15 K this weekend. Not bad for a 30 a day smoker... being smoke free is awesome!

Sick to death of putting on weight....

It seems to be the natural progression around here... quit, gain, get fit.  Kudos to you!

that's fantastic!  I've done 3 5k's so far....and still can't seem to run beyond 5 miles and I've been running on the treadmill all winter...

so for you to just run 15k without training..that's impressive.

Woo hoo....so awesome being smoke free

It's definitely not without training. I started last year when I was still trying to quit smoking. I've done a few 10k runs already.

I think I'll try an 8k next. I also signed up for a tough mudders race

8k before work? Keep that up and you won't smoke again, that is for sure. Props to you!

Today will be a good day. Yesterday may have sucked balls but it's gone and there isn't a thing I can change. But today I choose life. I will remain smoke free.... I started today with a pb 5k run. It's good to be free.
