December 9, 201411 yr Not to be gross, but is it good luck or bad luck when a black bird (maybe it's a crow- not sure) falls dead in your front yard? If it's good luck, I'll get a Lottery ticket tomorrow :good3: .. if it's bad luck, I'll stay home..
December 9, 201411 yr I think it's good luck if it drops a dukie on ya. Not sure about dropping dead. Buy the lottery ticket, ya gotta play to win.
December 9, 201411 yr I agree have only heard that a white shower was good luck - nothing about a black bird bomber taking one for team - doesn't sound lucky to me.
December 9, 201411 yr Author hmmmm, well it looks like the general consensus so far is it's bad luck.. maybe I'll (using this as my excuse/reason) just stay in my jammies all day tomorrow and just get out of bed when necessary ^_^

December 10, 201411 yr Not heard about dead crows and a superstition. But I am a "little" superstitious. If I spill salt, I have to throw a pinch behind my shoulder..
December 10, 201411 yr B) I am superstitious and have not heard of black crows I also believe you can make your own luck so lets all say its good luck and go get that ticket ;)
December 10, 201411 yr I don't believe in anything supernatural, ghosts, pixies, fairies, gods, magic, dream catchers, santa, politicians with integrity or unicorns, they aren't real.
December 10, 201411 yr Author Thanks you guys,.. I'm gonna split it down the middle - stay in my jammies and have hubby get the lottery ticket... - I left the bird out there for hubby to get rid of - who when he got home last night being sarcastic as ever, asked if Alfred Hitchcock was coming to dinner - the smart ass!! :P

I love the Hitchcock quip... smart hubby! I know that if you get pooped on by a bird that is supposedly good luck. (IMO stepping in or having something crap on me doesn't seem so lucky.)
