Sleeping pattern

Featured Replies

I'm using nicotine gum and wean off slowly... but the first hours oof the night I wake up more frequently only to fall asleep deep after 1 AM. I still wake up then but sleep longer. Is this normal?

yes its very normal whether you use an NRT or not. I have broken sleep patterns for about the first month.

Hi Evelyn!

I wondered that too when I first quit, totally normal. My hb would wake up in cold sweats. All temporary.

The day that came that I woke up without feeling a crave to smoke, I was so happy. It took a while to get there, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)

Hey Evelyn - yep, a little disturbed sleep is completely normal. You are doing great. It settles down soon enough.

Evelyn... I quit with the gum as well... and I went through the exact same thing.  Keep going...it will get better...I promise.
