Hit or miss

Featured Replies

Awww, love babies you can give back, they're the best kind :)

Hit: Have managed to eat well all week, including two fish meals, very proud of my changing eating habits.

Miss: This cold and dumb people have affected my sleeping this week and I'm really tired.

Hit - last night was a blast :)

Miss - this morning/afternoon... Not so great - feel like crap!

Hit - Our first week with buddy, our new adopted shelter dog. :)

Miss - Tracey is paying more attention to him than me. :(

I can't really think of a hit.

Miss was work sucked.  :focus:

ETA:  I figured out a hit.  I have a friend who is usually quite snarky these last few years.  I talked to her on the phone for about 40 minutes last night and she was actually quite nice.

Awww...Wendy, babies - a hit every time :)

Hit - We went out to eat the new buffet in town :)

Miss - I ate entirely too much :(

HIT:

surprised the wife and met her after work for dinner (she had to work mandatory overtime..12hrs  :(  ...I tend to make quite a mess when I cook. )

MISS:

She had to work 12hrs of mandatory overtime  :(

HIT: Had a few days this week where I realized after the fact that the urges were minimal;

not just that but with a lot of practicing information I have learned here and everywhere, I

was able to just notice the urges and, "lean into" them. Some days are better than others.

MISS: And I went on this forum last night and started a topic about my Anger, but hit the

"backspace" key by mistake and said, Frick it ! I've had big problems with anger before in

other quits and it drove me back to smoking. I can't take medications, so please don't mention

Chantix  or Wellbutrin or Therapy. I went off the deep end on trying those things. I have been

on the patch but it just helps a little. I got into a decent sized altercation last night and it was

no doubt because of the nicotine withdrawal. This time, however, I chose not to smoke. I feel

a little better today, but am really still hurting about that incident. I am so frickin disgusted.

Thank you all, you have been great, at least an hour at a time today, I say NOPE!    Jeffrey

Hit: Getting my hair cut and having my MIL compliment me, saying I look healthy and happy.

Miss: Almost calling off my wedding. :( Yesterday was especially bad. This week in general has been so bad.
