September 5, 201411 yr Hi guys! I hadn´t seen the message, sorry. Well...today I feel dizzy and with lots od cravings. Also lots of doubts. It´s amazing to realize how much of my life was built around smoking and now I have to come up with whole new strategies, schedules, etc. It´s great in lots of ways but a bit confusing.
September 5, 201411 yr Hey Nat, good to read you...sounds like great progress. Try shaking up routines a little, can help break associations.
September 5, 201411 yr At what age did you start smoking? Lots of is have been smokers before we even bece adults - we almost don't know how to live without cigarettes. It's a big adjustment! A lot of people take up exercise, or hobbies. I've spent all my spare time on projects around the house, and now I've started on the garden. I spend a lot of time here (as you can see, lol). Each day will get easier and easier... Promise ;)
September 5, 201411 yr I started at age 16. So no, I wasn´t remotely an adult. It is a big adjusment! I think once I feel less exhausted I´ll start trying to do some exercise again. Hobbies I got a lot! :)
September 5, 201411 yr Hi Natalie its retraining your mind to realise it does not need to rely on cigarettes to get through the day, every day is a huge achievement tell yourself how proud you are of YOU, tiredness plays a big factor in the early days, and exercise when you are ready, I started smoking when I was 12, can still remember it, you've got this Natalie you are doing great xx
