Okay I was able to follow the link, created the banner then I copied it then I was supposed to paste as signature but got lost there?

oh no,.. sorry it didn't work for you, maybe Nancy or Coleen or one of our other tech folks will  come by and help out,..i'm no good to you on this i'm afraid

Good Morning feeling well. Still trying to figure out that timer banner for my own. Looks like a good motivater.

I'll help, Mason...instructions below:

You make your own ticker...If you want one similar my top one click on mine, it will take you to the Ticker Factory website. Click All Tickers on the right, and then Event under Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary, and you can choose your own wording, etc.   You enter your information and create your ticker.  Then, copy the address they give you.  Come back here and click on My Profile (in drop down by your name) and the click Edit Profile.  Select signature on the left side, and then paste the address in the signature box.  When you click Save Changes the ticker appears!

Just a note…The ticker doesn't always show up on the smartphone version of the posts, but you will be able to see it appear on the PC and tablet versions.

If you want one similar my bottom one go to

Tina's Quit Meter

Create your ticker, and instead of copying the address, right click on the ticker and Copy Image, and then come paste in signature box.  Lots of us have two tickers because we like the pretty top one, but like that the bottom one keeps track of the cigs we have not somoked and the money.  I hope this helps!

Mason, I'm a ticker retard :( Have you got it. How you quittin, cold turkey, nrt etc...this I can help with?!

Mason, I just wanted to check in too. This place is great for quitting. We are here for you! Let us know if you need anything.

My most challenging time is when I get out of work at midnight and start to convince myself to have a smoke. Even after being good all day any suggestions? What do you guys do with a strong urge and challenge?

Mason - I used to talk to mine - out loud.

"Hello Craving! How are you? I was wondering when you would come along. You know - you are the result of smoking. Never-smokers don't get cravings. Why would they? Non-smokers don't either. I quit smoking. So - you are just an automatic reaction triggered by years of habit...every time you come by and I don't smoke, you get weaker and weaker - until eventually I don't even notice you...So - thanks for coming by. I don't smoke - so wasted trip I'm afraid. I am FREE. I love being free. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

(always worth checking there are not too many people nearby before you start talking to yourself ;) )

Okay, to go to your signature, click on the arrow by your name and choose "My Profile"  when you get there, click "Edit my Profile", then choose signature which will be on the left of the page.  Scroll down to the second box that says "Edit my Signature" and paste the banner, then click "Save Changes".  I hope this helps!

Hiya Mason and welcome, congrats and well done on quitting, best decision you will ever make.

I had to avoid alcohol for the first few months to be on the safe side and then I would only drink a maximum of 3 drinks for another few months until I felt safe in my quit, alcohol was always my weak spot that use to get me breaking all my quits so maybe avoid going out for a little bit or only allow yourself a few drinks or leave early, if not have some crisps or peanuts or something to have if you crave.

Sue xx

If I was alone I would switch from foot to foot repeating nope. clicked my fingers. smoked through a straw cut smaller. sing. clean something.
