Making the connection

Featured Replies

After 1 week and a raise of 25 mg twice a day, I only feel more depressed. I feel clutted inside. I know this can be temporarily and is a side affect of antidepressivant. But I just wanted to reach out. I know one thing if you stop making connections to people, you only fade away; so here's my little ask for connection and a hug maybe? I'm now 2 days quit and the med helps me with the quit I just need to pull through the first phase.

Sorry I'm not all cheery and happy, I'm just plain depressed caused by the antidepressivant Nortrilen and I KNOW and will EXPLAIN it is normal to get worse in the beginning... So no panick. Just gotta ride the ride and wait for another week or two before the antidepressivant starts doing its job.

About the smoking part it's backing me up :) that medication. I'm even to down to put the effort in getting cigarettes.

((hugs)))

Evelyn, you need to report all side effects you experience, especially worsening of your depression to you doctor for close monitoring.

Here is your hug

Thinking of you Evelyn!  Your strength is an inspiration to me.  I agree with the other comments, we are all here for you, but it's so important to make sure your doc is up to speed on everything.

Hugs Evelyn.  We love ya here.  You post any time for a hug and you'll get one!!
