Although, I have used their side when I gained weight and went on my Gourmet diet If you look at contact us, they have an extra section for "Marketing Partnerships" So I was thinking, a lot of people who want to lose weight or just try to be healthier smoke.....wouldn't it be perfect if we would have a link to them and vise versa? Maybe I am wrong, but I think it might be a great opportunity..... Or maybe all of us over there can just put it in our profile??? Or mention the quittrain in our blog (for the ones who have a blog)
April 28, 201412 yr A Quittrain ap for the ipad; works as a meter for your quit time, allows feed for posts to the board, etc. SOS button on the app, too; tied into the forum in the "SOS Board." Those of us who have subscribed to that folder would see it and respond, and it would send those responses back through to the ap.

Or mention the quittrain in our blog (for the ones who have a blog) Marketing, to me, implies money somewhere. . .one of the reasons Joel Spitzer has quite a bit of credibility to me, aside for his methods working for many, is that he has steadfastly held to the policy of relief from Nicotine addiction being free for all. This was one of the issues I have. . . had with other places. I like this forum because it isn't trying to sell anything!
April 28, 201412 yr Author fitnesspal is a free support forum for people who want to lose/gain/maintain their weight and people who like a exercise challenge. They don't sell anything...neither does the quittrain. A lot of their members are smokers..a lot of our members want to lose weight....that would be the perfect "link" relationship...not marketing anything besides free support.
April 28, 201412 yr I can't even give stuff away, much less sell it. lol See my Allen Carr book give-a-way that I've been trying for like a year or so. :) Once I get the coffee mugs done the way I want them, I will offer them for sale to anybody who wants to buy one. Once you reach 1 year quit, you get a free coffee mug. These are not cheapo promotional mugs either. Made in the USA, very thick and very heavy. Will be blue and our logo will be in full color. Not cheap by any means (especially when you have to buy them in quantity), but it's money that I'm not spending on cigarettes. :) I'll check out myfitnessapal...
April 28, 201412 yr LB could be on to something....I was reading a few days ago regarding the best ways to get a link out there and one of the options suggested was to offer to link someone elses site, it they will provide a link to yours.
