  3. I was lost - I'm back... Where's the party?
  4. One line: a person must be motivated. You can't get someone to stop. THEY NEED TO WANT TO QUIT. I quit because I'm absolutely motivated, days before I started champix I hated the smoking. Normally when you use champix you smoke the first week, so the champix can 'work in', you quit the second week, and I was so DONE with smoking I threw the whole schedule out. I took the champix and it helps with the withdraws and it makes it a little less hard... but I was DONE! Screw the schedule! that is motivation, my friends! People need to WANT it. REALLY!!! The fact my psych meds were sorted out and I am stabilized now is a pro too. People want to quit. For real. The big deal.
  5. I just hate fire, candles etc. And fake candles won't work ;)
  6. They have this special candle, that removes the smell of smoke. I consider it...
  7. I washed my sheets and clotes and it finally starts to smell better :P I live in a 4 by 4 mtr room imagine that
  8. NOPE just for today
  9. I slept in. Lol awesome. I kick off good
  10. OK. It was a rough day... Nothing I couldn't handle... Just lots of empty time and missed talking to someone. Some cravings but I thought, do I wanna smoke that whole pack that comes behind the 'one'? And my firm reply was yuck no. And jeeesh everything seems to smell yuck. So I'm listing music and the new song if Kelly Clarkson is fitting.
  11. I wanted to make sure it wasn't an interaction with my meds - which it isn't so I can use it. ;)
  12. Om de done with nicotine and cigarettes
  13. Yeah I quit today, 2 hours after I took the first champix... I do not crave cigs, just thoughts... I knew building up to 2 mg would yeapirdise the quit and my Christmas. So I quit today. I already hated smoking the last few days. I am committed. Just the physical withdrawal is shaking, muscle tension... Nothing I can't handle... Mentally I feel firm
  14. Doorbel, for believing in me and Bakon for buyng a beer, for all tough love.
  15. ... of cigs fom your couch, bed etc... clothes you can wash but I feel intoxicated
  16. The tension and shaking, even trouble speaking = withdraw... remember I smoked almosr 50 to 60 cigs in 24 hours so my body is kicking off big time. I do not crave cigs though
  17. I am shaking and I'm wondering if this can be a withdraw symptom or is it the champix? I smoked sometimes 45 to 50 cigs a day
  18. I officially accept it :) and take this quit very seriously and I wanna hug you all for standing with me
  19. I quit. No more. Champix gives me enough despise against cigs and I feel nothing when I smoke. I use it for 4 days and I NOPE, right here right now. I am done. NOPE. Just for today.
  20. I've noticed such hatred against cigarettes that I put my last out. I'll use Champix for 3 days, 4 maybe... but I'm not going to use the full program I believe in myself and already despise cigs so much that I quit now. I feel this is right. The low dosis of Champix will give me that support with physical withdraw, and I am strong enough to do this. So here's my NOPE
  21. Already started, see my other topic. :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
